Honoring Dave D’Arco: A True UNICAN
Reflecting on the passing of Dave D’Arco, a dedicated leader and proud UNICAN who truly personified the spirit of “Service Above Self.” As President of the Passaic-Clifton Chapter, Dave was a driving force in our community, always working to uphold UNICO’s mission of service, heritage, and philanthropy.
A retired Paterson Police Sergeant, Dave served with honor for 25 years, dedicating his life to protecting and uplifting others. His commitment extended beyond law enforcement—he spearheaded the annual "No Shave" fundraiser, raising nearly $23,000 each year for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His generosity and unwavering dedication made a profound impact on countless lives.
Dave’s leadership, kindness, and selfless service will never be forgotten. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and fellow UNICANS. Rest in peace, Dave—your legacy will continue to inspire us all. 💙🇮🇹🙏

Former police officer David D’Arco passed away last month after a 13-year battle with cancer. 💔 David served on the Paterson police force for 25 years, and spearheaded a "no shave" charity event that raised $23,000 annually for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
